Metal samples can scare small children... Performance is well executed and inviting. The song is your generally blitz of the senses that demands adknowledgement and has the potential to send the sissies running.Great production. Could hear everything clearly and the only criticism would be could ya play some more? The Lesson review
Grade A Very well constructed, I enjoyed the very abstract use of Background vocals from the onset, really draws upon elements of early Beatles recordings they way you layered the backgrounds in, The main vocals tend to remind me more of System of a down with a touch of slipknot thrown in for good measure. Lyrics are entertaining and seem well thpought out. the constant comparison to a flea bitten dog being punished really is dramatic. Again, the backgrounds really up the ante into making them even more suggestive and powerful Song structure is tight with its complexity and extremely hard to classiffy, which is a good thing. From the first crisp clear lead notes unto the final beat before the growling outro this song is masterfully prepared. Top notch idea, performed perfectly with Grade A Production. I wanna cupa joe antime to reflect... Man the intro threw me for a loop when in my mind I was ready to sit, cry, and contemplate but slammed with the dynamic contradiction of power mood and feel by the rest of the tune.Your song production is sick as in ass kickin and the performance can impress the leaders of the free world. thanks for lettin me listen. Redline Review
vocal coolage I liked how the vocals where used in this recording. The dreamy blurr they create add to the dire mood of the song. The upbeatness of the course adds a nice contrast to the straightley delivered verses. The preformance shows a real talented group of musicians who possess a quirky element in there song writing to add just enough uniqueness.. The production is high quality. This song is radio ready Extra Credit: Coolest Chill-Out Track.
Eyes Review
Postively FRESH and EXCELLENT! Wow, I'm less than a minute in, and this song has surprised me several times already. At first I only thought it was pretty cool, but this is really an original piece of work, this intrigues the sh*t out of me. What a fascinating layering of guitars (with some really trippy guitar sounds, especially on the intro leading into the verse). Excellent, cool vocal. There's an opening verse, two part harmony, that reminds me vaguely of some of Cobain's hard acoustic stuff, but then it leads to other verse/chorus sections that don't sound anything like that. The song has quite a variety of textures and moods, outstanding melody and harmony lines, definitely one of my favourite things I've heard on GB, certainly recently. Really cool drum/percussion sounds, brilliant electric guitar arrangement in the various sections. Sort of psychedelic Nirvana, really f-ing original! This is EXCELLENT! Spectacularly good lyric/melody/vocal. Have just spun it a second time just for pleasure. Thanks for uploading this, brilliant work. Crutch Review
Delicate Nice guitar melody and tone to open up the song. Groovy rhythm..not conventional..inventive. Your drummer has some nice ideas adding what sort of sounds like open roto toms...adds to the song greatly. Singer has a pleasant voice..floating gently over the plucking guitar melody. The counterpoint backing vocals with the eq adjustment to make them stand out against the lead vocal are very well placed in the song. The chorus with the more conventional drum beat defines it well. Very pretty sounding song. Almost like a very mellow song by Tool if they ever did one...which definitely means you have fused two ideas here to create a whole new mood. Another Go Review
Awesome post-grunge Highly original song, from the several-voices-at-once-thing on the verses to the cool breaks. The repetitive rhythm really sets the mode and I think that this post-grunge thing works very well. With just an acoustic guitar, bass and drum machine they still creat an hypnotic groove. I guess I should come with different suggestion about stuff you could change or add but what's the point? This is awesome. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Melody, Beat, Mood, Originality.
